Who we are

Tinker Scholar is operated by Tiny Utopia LLC, which is responsible for the information described here.

What we collect

A parent account (name, email, a securely hashed password) and the learner details you enter: first name, grade, state, interests, levels and school hours. We store lesson plans, completed lessons and scores you record so we can personalize future weeks and show progress.

Children's information

Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians. Learners do not create accounts or sign in. We collect only the learner details a parent chooses to enter, and we never sell or rent them. A parent can edit or delete a learner, and all of that learner's plans and progress, at any time from the members area.

How we use it

To generate and adapt lesson plans and worksheets, track progress against standards, run your account and subscription, and contact you about your account. AI features process the learner's grade, levels and interests to write lesson text; we do not use that data to advertise to you or your children.

Service providers

We host on Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use an essential cookie to keep you signed in. On our public pages (home, curriculum, sign-up and similar) we also use a first-party visitor ID and, when enabled, advertising tags from Google, Meta, Pinterest and Microsoft to measure which ads lead to sign-ups and subscriptions. These tags are never loaded inside the members area where children learn, and we never share learner information with advertisers. When we report a conversion to an ad platform we send only what's needed to match it, such as a hashed parent email address.

Your choices

You can update or delete learner data in the members area, and you can ask us to delete your whole account by emailing hello@tinkerscholar.com.
